Open a Schwab account remotely and apply for a Jiaxin US Dollar Card.

Jiaxin Registration Application#

To log in to Jiaxin Wealth Management, you need to receive a mobile verification code. Usually, domestic phone numbers cannot receive verification codes, so it is recommended to add a security code login method in the security settings after registration. After that, use the VIP Access application to send the security code to log in to Jiaxin Wealth Management.

The first time you log in to Jiaxin Wealth Management, you will be prompted to update the W8 form. If you do not fill out the W8 form, a 30% tax will be charged. After filling out the form, only 10% tax will be charged.

In addition, if you register with a US phone number or US address, you will need to fill out an additional explanatory form to prove that you are not a US local resident.

Jiaxin Account Deposit#

After registration, Jiaxin will send an email every day, and you will receive a deposit reminder email after about four days.

There are many ways to deposit funds into Jiaxin Wealth Management, including domestic wire transfer in the United States, global USD wire transfer, and global foreign currency wire transfer.

Apply for Jiaxin Debit Card#

It is recommended to apply for a debit card after depositing $1000.

After applying for the card, you may receive a call from Jiaxin Wealth Management's Chinese customer service in the United States the next day. Be sure to answer the call. The customer service will ask when you can complete the deposit of $25,000. You can answer within six months.

After the card is shipped, you will receive an email from Jiaxin. The card will be delivered to the Chinese customs by DHL express and will arrive in about three days after customs clearance, without any shipping fees.

Card Activation#

Use Google Voice or Skype to make a free call to +1-800-269-7419 for calls within the United States, or +1-317-596-4501 for calls outside the United States.

After the call is connected, press 4 for Chinese service.
Select 1 to activate a new card.
Enter the 16-digit card number.
Enter the 8-digit Jiaxin Wealth Management account number. The card will be successfully activated at this point.

Set PIN Code#

After activation, set a withdrawal PIN for the card by entering 1.
Enter the card expiration date, for example, if it is 02/33, enter 0233.
Enter the 3-digit security code on the back of the card.
Enter a 4-digit PIN code.
The PIN code will be read back in English. If it is correct, enter 1.
Finally, enter 9 to end the call.
